How to Appreciate Yourself.



Do you know that lack of self appreciation is the main reason people become depressed? Appreciating yourself is the most important component of self-love. People who appreciate themselves usually have good heart and full of optimism. 
They love the gift that God has bestowed upon them. They feel comfortable in themselves, seem to be lucky, and are known for their generosity and tolerance.

Don't you notice that people who love and appreciate themselves seem to get over someone in a few days after a break up, rather than months and years? 
Don't you know some people who refuse to get abused by their partner whether verbally or physically? Studies show that people, especially women, who appreciate themselves are less likely to get abused verbally and physically by their partner. 
This is due to the fact that these kind of people value themselves.
I want you to ask yourself some questions, 

Do you appreciate yourself? Are you grateful and proud of your qualities and talents? Do you appreciate your looks? 
To answer these questions, follow the below exercise that will help you to appreciate yourself in 4 easy steps:

Get a piece of paper and answer the following:
1. The 5 things I love about myself are... 
2. The 5 things about me I will not change are... 
3. The 5 things that make me unique are... 
4. The most thing that I love about myself is...



To learn how to appreciate yourself, you have to know your positive qualities and know that you are God's gift to the world. If there is something that you don't like, then work on changing it. You must know that you have many good things to offer to humanity, so begin to trust and appreciate yourself.
